O Ohana Market was born from the idea of unity and community – and that’s what Ohana means: family.
But being a family goes beyond sharing a space. It’s also looking around, caring, supporting and making a real impact on the people around us.

It was for this purpose that Ohana Sociala new aspect of our project that aims to support social causes, local institutions and community initiatives throughout the year.
We want Ohana to be more than a market. We want it to be a movement of sharing, solidarity and presence.

The first step: Solidarity Christmas 2025

In 2025, Ohana Social will join forces with Casa de Cedofeita, a shelter run by the CrescerSer association that supports vulnerable children and young people.

Throughout December, we collected essential items (food, hygiene and cleaning products) to support the day-to-day running of this organisation.

Every visitor and brand came together — with donations being handed in at our venues:
Coliseu do Porto | Casa da Beira Alta | Praça das Cardosas

Because Ohana is – and always will be – family.
And family means caring both inside and outside the market.
