Chatting with the Ohana Market brands - Part 2

July has been a month full of beautiful encounters at Ohana Market. Between editions in Porto, creative projects and the vibrant energy of MEO Marés Vivas, we’ve had the opportunity to highlight brands that represent the best of national talent. Today we’re sharing three of them – all with their own personality, dedication and identity – who have recently passed through our space and our networks.

We started this series with three projects that, as well as standing out for their creative proposals, gave us genuine conversations, full of intention and identity.

1. laroca

Laroca is more than an art project – it’s a universe of personalized caricatures on dolls that capture not only the image, but also the essence of who they represent. Handmade, with attention to detail and a touch of humor, Laroca’s pieces are designed to surprise and thrill. An original idea to give away or keep as a decorative piece with a story.

2. Catarina peixoto

Catarina is a graphic designer and has created a unique collection of illustrations representing various Portuguese cities, transforming the concept of a souvenir into an object full of meaning. Her pieces are perfect for anyone visiting Porto (or any other city) and wanting to take away an artistic, delicate souvenir full of identity.

MEO Marés Vivas: 3 days of creativity with lots of music

In the midst of all this, we also experienced three unforgettable days at MEO Marés Vivas, in Vila Nova de Gaia. Ohana Market was present at the venue with 30 Portuguese brands, where visitors from all over the country were able to discover various brands, support local businesses and take in a bit of Portugal between concerts.

They were days of sunshine, good cheer, smiles and lots of sharing. Our space was a true extension of the Ohana spirit: community, creativity and authenticity.
